2018

In 2018, Marek Polák and his adoptive mother Olga went to Uganda to visit families and supported children, the school and the family of director Brian. During 2 weeks, they met all the students in their modest homes, where they talked to their parents, got to know more about the conditions in which the children grow up, and thus gave an authentic picture of life in Bulondo to the adoptive parents, who had not yet had the opportunity to travel to Uganda.

During the visit, 3 classrooms were covered and floors were concreted in 6 classrooms. School supplies and teaching aids such as chalk, maps, plastic cups, containers for drinking water, rakes, hoes, wheelbarrow and others were purchased.

Am called Dominika Trnková, 24 years old from Slovakia Republic, am currently working as a volunteer with NYEN under the EVS program. I chose this organization because I wanted to go to Africa and they offer to be a volunteer in here. Uganda- nature is very beautiful, nice people are here and I like spending this time in Uganda. I have a good relationship with them.

Am called Jana Ďuranová, 20 years old from Slovakia Republic, am currently working as a volunteer with National Youth Empowerment Network under the EVS program. I chose to come to Uganda because I wanted to help in Africa since I was12 years and I was really very happy that I could find an organization which gave me this oportunity. I like working with children and here I can realise my skills with children from animation at Good Hope Nursery and Primary school. Uganda is very busy. It was a shock for me to see a lot of people in one place. But I have to say, that they are kind hearted and nice, smiley and hostable. But I cant wait to see the nature of Uganda- The pearl of Africa..
